Denver International Airport (DIA, DEN), in conjunction with Loveland, CO presents a free Valentine's Day art exhibit and special postcards

Denver International Airport (DIA, DEN) – January 2009 – In celebration of Valentine's Day, the Denver International Airport and the Loveland Museum/Gallery and the Loveland Chamber of Commerce are presenting a free art exhibit at Denver International Airport. The exhibit features Victorian-era Valentine's cards, historical photos, memorabilia and artwork by Loveland artists. In addition, visitors can pick up a free postcard which will receive a special stamp and be sent through the Loveland, CO post office to receive the Loveland postmark for Valentine's Day. Over the years, the Loveland post office has processed many cards for people wanting the Loveland postmark on their Valentine's Day cards.

The art exhibit is entitled “Sweetheart Town – Loveland, Colorado” and is located pre-security on the walkway between the Jeppeson Terminal (the main circus tent looking terminal) and the A Gates. The airport art exhibit is on display through April 2009. Of course, if you want a free postcard to be sent through the Loveland post office, you will have to do this to allow ample time for a Valentine's Day delivery.

This holiday season, Denver International Airport (DEN / DIA) opens many new airport restaurants and shops.

Denver International Airport (DIA / DEN) -- November 2008 -- Passengers and employees at Denver International Airport (DEN / DIA) will have a host of new airport restaurants, shops, and services to choose from this holiday season. This month and next, DIA is expanding its selection of 148 concessions with an array of new offerings – from high-end cosmetics to homemade local tamales on DIA Concourses B and C.

The latest additions are part of DIA’s long-term strategy to optimize the Denver airport experience for passengers, visitors, and employees.

The new Denver airport restaurant and shop offerings are:

A Massage, Inc. – provides chair and foot massage in addition to 45-, 60- and 90-minute table massage in private rooms. Related spa products are also for sale. 6 a.m.-9 p.m., DIA Concourse B Mezzanine

Bella – offering a range of prestige cosmetic, skincare, and bath and body lines, including L’Occitane, Frederic Fekkai, Pangea Organic, and Kinerase. Bella also offers TSA-approved mini kits and gift sets.6 a.m.-10 p.m., DIA Concourse B Center Core

Brookstone – offering a wide assortment of consumer products, from household tools and gadgets to travel accessories. 6 a.m.-10 p.m., DIA Concourse B Center Core

Caribou Coffee – complements the Caribou Coffee in Denver International Airport Jeppesen Terminal with coffee and tea specialties, as well as baked goods and other snacks. 6 a.m.-9 p.m., DIA Concourse B Mezzanine

Jamba Juice – specializes in blend-to-order fruit smoothies and juices, as well as health snacks. 6 a.m.-9 p.m., DIA Concourse B Mezzanine

Johnston & Murphy – offers men’s apparel, handcrafted shoes, belts, wallets and luggage. 7 a.m.-9 p.m., DIA Concourse B Center Core

Kazoo & Company Toy Store – brings its wide selection of creative and educational toys and games, stuffed animals and dolls and more to DIA. 8 a.m.-9 p.m., DIA Concourse B Mezzanine

Denver, CO April 22, 2008: The signature roof of Denver International Airport’s Jeppesen Terminal has made it one of the most recognizable buildings in the United States. DIA has now teamed with the American Institute of Architects Colorado to present a new exhibit: Crossroads: Colorado Architecture
Then, Now, and Beyond.

The exhibit celebrates Colorado’s rich architectural history, and corresponds with National
Architecture Week and the 150th anniversary of the City of Denver. The exhibit will be open for
viewing through January 2009, which includes DIA’s busiest travel months and the Democratic
National Convention in August.

For 150 years, members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) have worked with each
other and their communities to create more valuable, healthy, secure, and sustainable buildings
and cityscapes. AIA members have access to the right people, knowledge, and tools, and using
these resources and access they help clients and communities realize their visions through
better design. AIA Colorado (www.aiacolorado.org) is a state component of AIA with more than
2,200 members in four local chapters.

Crossroads: Colorado Architecture Then, Now, and Beyond is located in two areas at DIA:
Concourse A, mezzanine level, center core, and Concourse C, gates level, center core. Both
locations are accessible only by ticketed passengers.

Denver, CO April 21, 2008: Denver International Airport is pleased to announce its latest temporary art exhibit: Colorado: See the New West Like a Local. The exhibit features 78 artworks and writings highlighting the state from the people who know it best – the locals.

Last fall, DIA invited state residents to submit written statements or poems expressing what they
love about Colorado and why. Residents with diverse viewpoints, interpretations, and
backgrounds submitted more than 300 original statements and poems expressing their visions
of Colorado. Artists around the state interpreted the best of these submissions in many different
media.

A jury reviewed the 697 artworks submitted by 407 artists and chose the ones that are on
display at DIA. Jury members were: Sonnet Hanson, master teacher for modern and
contemporary art, Denver Art Museum; Pauline Herrera, communications and marketing
director, Denver Office of Cultural Affairs; Steve Klodt, acting director of publications, DIA; Grant
Pound, executive director, Colorado Art Ranch, and Chris Ransick, Denver poet laureate.
The exhibit is on display through January 2009, and will be seen by several million people
during that time, including delegates to the Democratic National Convention in August.
Colorado: See the New West Like a Local is located on the walkway leading from Jeppesen
Terminal to the Concourse A security-screening checkpoint, and is accessible for everyone’s
enjoyment.
